If you are motoring to Shaw’s Hotel, you may come via Northumberland Ferries from Caribou, Nova Scotia to Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island. The trips last about one hour and no reservations are needed. When in Nova Scotia, we suggest you call 1-800-565-0201 and ask how long the wait will be for the ferry. If it is more than an hour, it would be better to go by the Confederation Bridge. If you are coming from New Brunswick take the stunning Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island, when you arrive on PEI, follow the Trans Canada highway to Charlottetown; follow the signs to the Charlottetown airport, and you will come to Route 15 traffic circle, and then it is a 25 kilometre (15 miles) drive on Route 15 North to Brackley Beach and the door of Shaw’s Hotel.
